Patrick Quinn
Founder, Portfolio Manager And Managing Partner

Patrick is the sole portfolio manager of Quinn Opportunity Partners and has overseen the performance of the flagship fund since its 2011 inception. Prior to founding the firm, Patrick was a senior analyst on the risk arbitrage and special situations team at Perry Capital where he specialized in corporate actions while partnering with industry-specific teams to assess intrinsic value. Patrick’s team managed nearly $1 billion of capital dedicated to absolute-return strategies focused on North American equities. Patrick holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas.

Salem Griffin
CFA, CPA, Chief Of Operations And Finance

Salem has worked in the finance industry since 2007. Before joining Quinn Opportunity Partners, she worked in fund accounting and trading operations at Ziff Brothers Investments, a multibillion-dollar investment firm. In New York she began her career in public accounting at Deloitte, where she audited commodity pools and fund of funds. Salem holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Richmond.

Megan Trolley
Head Of Trading And Risk Analyst

Megan has over 22 years of trading experience. Previously, she worked as a trader at Perry Capital, in London and New York, focusing on long/short equity, event-driven, merger arbitrage and distressed credit. Megan started her career at Bear Stearns in Institutional Sales and Trading. She holds a BA in Economics from Boston College and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Josh James
Manager Of Operations And Finance

Josh joined the team from Reynolds American where he was a finance manager. He began his career in equity research at Stifel, an investment banking firm, where he contributed to award-winning research for retail and institutional clients. Josh received a BS in Economic and a Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina, and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
